Who should consider our training?
Our courses are ideal for aspiring plumbers aiming to work in the Building Services and Construction Industry.
What qualification will I receive after completing the course?
You will complete an NQF Level 4-aligned Skills Development Programme (Accreditation No: 91782, 360 Credits). This is not a full plumbing qualification yet — to become a certified plumber with the Red Seal (Section 26D Trade Test), you still need 3 years of supervised work experience after the course.
Am I a fully qualified plumber after finishing the course?
No. The course gives you the theoretical and practical foundation (NQF 4), but full qualification requires an additional 3 years of on-the-job experience under a qualified plumber, followed by passing the Section 26D Red Seal Trade Test. We assist you with Trade Test preparation and registration through our affiliate, Nomanzi Trade College.
Do you help with job placement or workplace experience?
Yes. Students on the Full-Time + Workplace Experience programme get 3 months of real-world placement under qualified plumbers (Monday–Friday full days). We also assist all graduates with CVs, job leads, and employer introductions where possible.
Who is eligible to enrol in your plumbing courses?
We welcome a wide variety of students:
- Anyone with at least Grade 9 (or equivalent) or who is 16 years and older.
- Individuals with no formal schooling but who can demonstrate the ability to understand basic plumbing theory and mathematics.
- School-leavers, matric graduates, full-time employees, career changers, and even retirees looking to learn a new trade.
- Companies wanting to up-skill their maintenance staff or apprentices
If you have the motivation to become a plumber, we’ll find a way to get you started.
Can companies send their staff for training?
Absolutely. We specialise in customised corporate training. We can design anything from a 1-day refresher to a full multi-week programme for maintenance teams or apprentices. Contact us for a tailored quote.
